I’m curious to know why you don’t mention baking this squash without cutting into cubes… just slice in half lengthwise and bake after preparing it.

In reply to Clifford H Davis. I have tried butternut squash for the first time and I have to say it was delicious. I cut it in cubes and tossed with salt and pepper and a little parsley and baked it and it was delicious.I will definitely cook again.
