I had this problem too but I just flattened them out at 10 minutes and cooked for an additional 2-3 minutes and they turned out great.

I think the reason was my natural peanut butter; I used Smucker’s natural peanut butter which is pretty runny. In the past, I think I bought a less oily natural peanut butter and had better results. Next time, I would buy a more traditional peanut butter.
